Modular Half-Track Kit System Designed for the
SOF ATV/SxS LTV Equipped Soldier
Today’s mobilized global warfighter must constantly adapt to significant terrain challenges. There are extreme environments that even an effective 4X4 driveline cannot overcome. Examples include sand, swamp, snow and mud.
To that end, RP Advanced Mobile Systems now offers a modular half-track kit system specifically designed and intended for the SOF ATV/SxS LTV equipped soldier. This system offers a level of reliability and performance like no other.
The half-track system is completely portable and can be fitted to numerous SxS LTV/ATV platforms (StrikeRazor, Ranger, MVP, Teryx, Commander, Prowler and many more) using basic tools in less than an hour. When no longer needed, the mounted soldier has the option to remove the track system and re-configure to a fully suspended 6X6 or revert to the original 4X4 wheeled configuration.
All systems also include a decking to facilitate additional cargo, seated personnel or crew served weapons integration.
